I am going to go through the affiliate marketing process step by step. It is an extremely easy concept and a completely viable business. Many people earn a living from just affiliate marketing and nothing else and it is a pretty much “hands-free” business once it is set up, but many people have never heard of it. Pick A Product or Service
A person such as you or me – Also known as an Affiliate, recommends a product or service online.
The Customer Buys The Product Or Service
If that person buys that shampoo, then you receive a commission from that company. Note, that they MUST purchase it for you to receive a commission.
You Receive a Commission
You get sent money for your recommendation. Depending on how the account is set up, you could get paid, daily, weekly or monthly or per sale.
Its a win-win with all the large companies as they only pay a commission if they get a sale. No sale, No commision. All companies that use affiliate marketing, have their own setup. You normally need to contact them and request to be an affiliate, so they can check that you meet their criteria. Once you’re approved, you get your link details. You could advertise your affiliate links through a website, a blog, Youtube, Pinterest and many more online channels….. Its all about being creative 🙂
